Youtube Filter Types
There are a few different types of YouTube filters, and each one can work a little bit differently. Here’s a breakdown of all the different types of filters, and how to get them to work on your videos.
These are the most common type of filters, and they just enable or disable certain features on YouTube. To enable general filters on your account, go to Settings > General > Enable General Filtering. To disable general filters, go to Settings > General > Disable General Filtering.
If you want more control over your video editing experience, you can use customizable filters instead. To use these filters, you first need to create an account at www.youtube.com/creator/filters (or sign in if you already have an account).
After creating an account, click the link in the upper right corner of the main YouTube screen. This will take you to the Creator Studio page where you can start customizing your filters.
To avoid copyright issues, you can turn off the Enable Copyrighted Content filter for video playback. This will disable the YouTube thumbnail image, which is also an image of a copyrighted work. By default, this option is enabled so that you can see the thumbnail image of a video before it’s played.

- To search within a playlist, click on the Playlists tab at the top of your screen and select Add Playlist.
